Wear it again sam vintage? Be warned !

Ever heard of Wear it again sam vintage, Wearitagainsamvintage, Wearitagain as she's known on Etsy or Wear-Vintage as she's known on Ebay ? BE WARNED!

Thinking about buying from her???

Read this before you do....

PEOPLE, ROCKABILLY’S, INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
– BE WARNED – STAY AWAY.

Sometimes when you see someone who resembles a redheaded leprechaun you should just follow your instincts and just don’t buy. PAYPAL WON’T HELP YOU EITHER ! Be warned. !

My experience with this seller has been a long one:

Several years ago as this seller was on Ebay this shirt which I bought and paid for in this Etsy transaction appeared. It was then offered with a minimal price but I liked it so I bid quite a lot on it but this seller always put her minimum prices so sky high that no one would possibly bid that amount, she just wanted to see what the buyers were willing to pay for an item. She would then place the items on the site again for a ridicules high price. Not able to sell too much anymore on Ebay she moved over to Etsy, as so many other buyers have done.
It's easier to rip people off on this site - As I had the experience of finding out, at my costs
Then the shirt appeared again, but how very strange a shirt that had previously been offered for $300 was now being offered for $100 ??? http://www.etsy.com/listing/45142213/california-ranchwear-inc-1950s-wool

Shirt Which was Bought and paid for....but never received.

Well the want of the shirt got the better of me and I purchased and paid for the shirt immediately on July 27.2010. On August 16. I receive a letter from the German customs that a package, containing a DRESS (????) with a given value of $75 (???) had arrived for me and that, anyone who knows German customs can confirm this, I was to go to the customs office, open the package in front of the officer and let him assess the value of the item. Depending on the value, the tax is calculated and then I may take the item with.
I arrived at the customs house on the August 23 to collect and pay for the item, being a little suspicious anyway as the item had been described as a dress. I open the previously unopened package in front of the officer and to my disbelief the package contained a girls white blouse type top and a blue mini skirt???? (Value around $2).
This could have been funny had I not paid so much damn money for the shirt.

Anyway I requested from the customs officer if I could take a photo of the items before they send the item back to the seller marked “package refused” and he agreed....

Items which was sent out by the seller and photographed at the customs office by myself with my mobile phone.

When I got home I contacted the seller “Wearitagain”, sending her also the photo of the items which were in the package and “Amanda” informed me that she was not responsible as she was just selling it for a friend “Kristine”.
Well having exchanged emails with “friend” Kristine for some weeks, still believing that I was writing to “Amanda” though, I was not getting any further. I even found the white top, yes the one with the puffy, short arm sleeves being worn by a widow puppet in a photo of her now defunct shop in San Diego which is still to be found on the net, but she claimed that this could not have possibly been the same top. Take a look at the photo's !!!

I finally reported the item to Paypal as item bought but not received, but who for some unknown reason kept delaying a decision on the case, I imagine that the cause of these constant delays were at the request of the seller.
The last thing I was informed of was that the seller had supplied them with a tracking number, that could have only been forged and with that the matter was for Paypal closed. This “Decision” had taken 2 months to be made from Paypal.
I still do not know what she supplied to Paypal but will be taking legal advice in order to obtain this information but it was definitely not the original USPS Tracking number (CP374579130). This package now having been returned and since received by the seller and the tracking number has been given free again for use by the USPS.
So a well planned manoeuvre at my costs as well as at the cost of some of the honest sellers at Etsy.

Etsy deleted my negative feedback which I left for this seller.

I guess negative feedbacks are not a good business card for Etsy and so only the positive or neutral feedbacks are left to read.
Not much of a help to future buyers.

I have now deleted my account at Etsy as this is already the second time that this has happened and no one, but no one accepts responsibility and the buyer ends up sitting on the costs.
I am as sickened as hell and will be buying in the future when I have the item in my hands and only then.

Etsy & Paypal can kiss my A**

The Rockabilly scene is a well connected and friendly scene and I hope people will take the time to read and learn from my experience and will stay away from such sellers.
Only when all people on the scene do this can we put such sellers out of the business of ripping us off, selling over priced crap and stealing our well earned cash.

Her website states "In Business since 1974"
Her Myspace site states Age 35 ???
Need I say more ?...
